RUNNER

Set in the near future, seventeen-year-old Roni sees corruption tightening around her and wonders if she can expose it—or if she must learn to survive within it. Living in a strict boarding school in futuristic New York, she keeps to herself, haunted by a violent attack on the train.

Then a message warns her that her tuition is unpaid and she may lose everything—school, dorm, safety. Her mother confirms it; her father stays silent.
